WWE Chief Content Officer and Head of Creative Triple H has reflected on the recent big announcements and teased more.
The week started off with the go-home edition of WWE Raw ahead of this weekend’s Royal Rumble, and then the big news hit.
It started with the announcement that WWE Raw would be brought to Netflix in January 2025, with more content also being added to the streaming platform.
We would then discover that Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson was joining TKO on the Board of Directors, with the movie star sharing his thoughts along with TKO CEO Ari Emanual and TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon.
Triple H has previously commented on Johnson joining WWE’s parent company and recently shared a photo along with new comments, tweeting:
“What a way to cap off a historic day.
“These are the people that make it all possible. The dedication, passion and work ethic of every single @WWE employee is inspiring and humbling.”
“Just one of the many highlights of an unbelievable week (we’re only halfway through, by the way)…”
He wouldn’t hint at what else could be happening during this “unbelievable week”, although WWE Royal Rumble takes place on Saturday..
WWE insiders were reportedly “not happy” about an article carried by Sports Illustrated providing “spoilers” for the January 27 event.
Insiders have criticised the “set in stone” nature of the Sports Illustrated story, with “sources close to Triple H” being “not happy.”
