New WWE Signing Believes First TV Appearance Was A ‘Such A Waste’ WWE

A brand new WWE signing has reflected on their recent TV debut, explaining why they personally feel it was a “waste”.

At WWE NXT Stand & Deliver (April 6) former STARDOM star Giulia made her long awaited WWE TV debut, appearing in the crowd alongside William Regal ahead of the NXT Women’s Championship match between Lyra Valkyria and Roxanne Perez.

The former NJPW STRONG Women’s Champion has now returned to Japan to wrap up her scheduled dates, before heading back to the United States to begin her WWE journey via NXT.

Now that Giulia is back in Japan, she has been speaking to the media regarding the move to WWE – including a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, in which she discussed her first TV appearance at Stand & Deliver.

Interestingly Giulia would admit to regrets regarding her reaction to the appearance that we saw on TV, revealing that she wasn’t actually aware that she was on camera until afterwards.

Giulia explained:

“The monitor was right above me and I couldn’t see it, so I didn’t think I was in the picture. There was a lot of cheering, so I thought someone big had come.

“Then I got a call from an acquaintance saying, “That was a huge cheer!” and I saw the video, I realized that the cheers were for me.

“It was such a waste… I want to do it all over again.”

Giulia has one final match for STARDOM on April 12, before heading to PRO WRESTLING NOAH for their WrestleMagic show on May 4.

It has also been reported that Giulia will assist STARDOM’s founder Rossy Ogawa in starting up his own new promotion following his firing from Bushiroad back in February.

WretsleTalk will provide updates on Giulia’s WWE future as/when they become available.
