Did Cody Rhodes Beat Brock Lesnar With A Broken Arm

Did Cody Rhodes Beat Brock Lesnar With A Broken Arm WWE

Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar faced off in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia to attempt to settle their bitter rivalry in front of a jubilant crowd.

Cody Rhodes put on a stunning effort, eventually utilizing his ‘titanium cast’ on his ‘broken arm’ as a weapon against Brock Lesnar.

“I cannot believe Cody is doing this again!” Corey Graves exclaimed as Michael Cole touted his high pain tolerance while Rhodes used his ‘broken arm’ as a weapon against Lesnar.

However in the end, it would be seemingly the ‘broken arm’ that would end the match for Cody, after Lesnar locked him into a Kimura Lock on the ‘broken arm’ multiple times.

As the referee desperately asked Cody if he gave up, he continued to vehemently decline to give up.

After Rhodes was saved by a rope break, he was able to summon the will to deliver yet another Cross Rhodes after reversing from a set up for an F5 but it still wasn’t enough as Lesnar kicked out.

Despite eventually hitting another F5, Rhodes yet again kicked out as Lesnar shouted in disbelief.

Again securing a Kimura Lock on Rhodes ‘broken arm’, the American Nightmare continued to writhe in pain.

Too far from the ropes for a break to be feasible, Rhodes appeared to pass out from the pain as the match was called in favor of Brock Lesnar.

“Cody Rhodes never tapped out, Cody Rhodes passed out,” Michael Cole said as Graves was concerned by potential ‘irreparable damage’ from the match having gone forward.

With the Beast Incarnate standing tall over a broken and battered Cody Rhodes, he paused to stare back from the entrance ramp as Cody had come back to consciousness.

Elsewhere at Night of Champions, Trish Stratus squeaked out a win over Becky Lynch with a big assist from an ex-NXT star and after the match, Lynch showed off a gruesome pic.

There was also a surprising title change at Night of Champions, while another title match lasted less than two minutes.
