The viewership figure and demo rating for Wednesday’s (October 4) 4th Anniversary edition of AEW Dynamite on TBS has been revealed.
Per Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, Dynamite drew 800,000 viewers. This is down from the September 27 edition that drew 855,000 viewers.
This is the lowest total viewership for the program since the May 3 episode. This week’s WWE NXT total viewership was higher with 857,000 viewers, but AEW’s ratings may have been affected by the scheduling issues, which you can read at this link.
In the key 18-49 demographic, Wednesday’s show scored 0.28 rating. This is the same as the week prior that also drew 0.28 rating.
Despite losing in total viewership, AEW Dynamite did outdraw WWE NXT in the key demo.
The show featured the first Dynamite appearance for “The Rated R Superstar” Adam Copeland, who called out his former tag team partner and best friend Christian Cage.
