Dana Brooke has declared “playtime is over” as she prepares to face Cora Jade on the July 25 episode of WWE NXT.
The pair will face off in a Kendo Stick Match on tonight’s episode of WWE NXT with the WWE Raw star having already faced Jade at NXT Gold Rush in June.
Brooke has recently addressed her return to NXT for the match on social media, posting:
“I dreamt about this for a week…
“I am ready to unleash!
“All your little scare tactics… SAVE IT!
“It’s an even playing field now!
“Kendo stick time.. to beat that ass lil B!
“PLAYTIME IS OVER!”
The kendo stick has become something of a hallmark for Jade, who used one to attack Lyra Valkyria in the NXT Women’s Championship tournament.
Jade is a former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion having held the title with Roxanne Perez.
Dana Brooke was a fifteen-time WWE 24/7 Champion.
She made a return to NXT on June 6, 2023 taking part in the NXT Women’s Championship number one contender battle royal.
On the July 18 episode of NXT, Brooke and Kelani Jordan bonded over their love of gymnastics, footage of which can be seen below this news story.
