Who Won The ‘Weapons Wild’ Match At NXT Great American Bash

WWE NXT Great American Bash continued tonight (July 30) with a Texas sized women’s ‘Weapons Wild’ match.

At tonight’s NXT Great American Bash, one of the night’s grudge matches has already taken place in front of the Texas crowd as Blair Davenport and Roxanne Perez faced off in a ‘Weapons Wild’ match.

Being sure to utilize a variety of weapons, including ones that would qualify as ‘wild’ (including a branding iron!), Roxanne Perez was in front of her home state as well as having her Mom and little sister in attendance at ringside.

With Blair Davenport taking special time to beat down Perez in front of her family, there were chairs and trash cans in no short supply as Davenport dominated offense for much of the beginning of the match.

However, Roxanne Perez was able to harness her anger as she battled back, attacking Blair with a cow bell, a belt and even took special time to take out a table.

With Vic Joseph on commentary noting that perhaps Davenport had made a mistake bringing out the ‘evil’ side of Roxanne Perez, the ‘Prodigy’ Perez set up a table but Blair tried to counter.

While the duo would continue to battle back and forth, eventually it would be Davenport who went through the table.

After Perez got Davenport back in the ring, she hit her finishing move, the Pop Rox, on a pile of chairs and scored the pinfall victory.
