WWE has reportedly made an offer to another previously released talent for a return to the company, this time, JONAH (Bronson Reed).
Speaking on today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said:
“JONAH certainly has an offer from WWE. And he’s gotta make a decision. It’ll either be New Japan or WWE. He got a great push in New Japan, and it’s gonna be his call.”

JONAH, who worked under the name Bronson Reed in WWE, was released by the company in August 2021.
Just prior to his release, he had received ‘tryout’ matches for the main roster, but the decision was made by the old regime of WWE management to release him rather than promote him.
Before that, he was pushed by Paul Levesque (Triple H) in NXT as the brand’s North American Champion, so evidently Levesque, who is now WWE’s Chief Content Officer and lead on creative, was high on him.
Following his release JONAH has most notably worked with IMPACT and NJPW, with his run with the latter including a win over Kazuchika Okada.
He would of course join a long and growing list of names who were released by old WWE management but then brought back under Levesque if he does make that decision.
Recent reports have suggested other names WWE has interest in who have yet to officially return include Chelsea Green, and potentially also her husband Matt Cardona (Zack Ryder).
