WWE is reportedly starting to plan its return to Madison Square Garden.
A new report from PWInsider has stated that their sources at the venue have confirmed that WWE has multiple holds on potential dates in the building over the next year. However, as of this writing, none of them are set in stone.
WWE has not run a show at Madison Square Garden since December 26, 2019. This was the house show where Andrade defeated Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship.
The report speculates that one of the dates WWE has a hold on is December 26, 2021. WWE does hold an annual event on that date each year with the exception of 2020 due to the pandemic.
WWE has not run a pay-per-view at Madison Square Garden since Survivor Series 2011.
