WWE Plans For Debuting Bloodline Family Member Revealed WWE

A major update has emerged on WWE’s plans for Hikuleo, amid speculation about his debut for the company.

Following Hikuleo wrestling his final match for NJPW in June, reports indicated that the former NJPW Strong Openweight Champion was WWE-bound.

With Hikuleo – the son of Haku – being real life half-brothers with Tama Tonga, and being considered the adopted brother of Tonga Loa, it has been heavily speculated that Hikuleo will join his brothers in the faction.

Details have now emerged on WWE’s plans for Hikuleo’s debut, which appears to be set to take place away from the Bloodline drama on the main roster.

Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite now reports that Hikuleo has been added to the WWE NXT internal roster, meaning that he’s expected to spend at least some time on the developmental brand.

Hikuleo last wrestled at the June 9 Dominion show, dropping his and El Phantasmo’s NJPW Strong Tag Team Championship in a four-way tag-team match where the IWGP Tag Team Championship was also on the line.

During his time with NJPW, he held the Strong Openweight Championship and IWGP Tag Team Championship once each, and the NJPW Strong Tag Team Championship twice.

Haku’s family is considered part of the Anoa’i wrestling dynasty through The Rock, who considers Haku to be his uncle.

We will continue to provide updates on Hikuleo’s status as they become available.
