UPDATE: Dolph Ziggler/Nic Nemeth has now broken his silence on his NJPW debut, which you can read more about right here.
Former WWE star Dolph Ziggler (Nic Nemeth) made his first post-WWE appearance at Thursday’s (January 4) NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 18 event.
Wrestle Kingdom usually features matches and surprises that get the wrestling world talking, and NJPW has now delivered, showing off the Show-Off.
Ziggler, as Nic Nemeth, appeared at the Tokyo Dome alongside his brother, AEW’s Ryan Nemeth. The duo entered the arena and took seats at ringside ahead of the IWGP and NJPW STRONG tag title winner takes all match.

Later on in the night, Nic Nemeth was confronted by David Finlay, after Finlay won the IWGP Global Heavyweight Championship.
After Finlay shoved Nemeth, the champion brawled with the former WWE star.
Ziggler/Nic Nemeth recently became a free agent, following his WWE release in September 2023.
Ryan Nemeth is currently signed to AEW, where he has wrestled since January 2021.
As of writing, it’s unclear whether or not Nic Nemeth has signed with NJPW, or will just be working with the company as a free agent.
The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion most recently wrestled on the May 29, 2023 edition of Raw, wrestling JD McDonagh to a double count-out in McDonagh’s Raw singles debut.
