Current WWE Name Says ‘The Other Place’ Should Sign Recently Released Star

WWE Hall of Famer Road Dogg Brian James has spoken very highly of a former star who was recently let go by the company.

Speaking on his Oh… You Didn’t Know podcast, Road Dogg picked out Elias as a star who could very easily find success outside of WWE, praising his versatility, look and in-ring work.

Road Dogg said:

“(He) 100% (has a future in wrestling).

“If the other place doesn’t scoop him up, I just don’t know why you wouldn’t.”

Road Dogg was also a big fan of Elias’ integration of music into his on-screen persona, believing that sets him up to stand out from others:

“There’s money on the table with music.”

Elias, who spent almost a decade in WWE, was one of many stars released from their contracts on September 21, with other long-tenured stars such as Dolph Ziggler, Shelton Benjamin and Dana Brooke also being let go.

Despite being released from his contract Elias was thankful for his time in the company, issuing a statement on social media in reflection of the highlights of his run.
