Contentious Finish To Championship Match At WWE Royal Rumble 2024

At tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble, social media turned WWE star Logan Paul looked to keep his United States Championship against Kevin Owens.

After engaging in a competitive match throughout, the United States Championship would come down to one final sequence.

When Logan Paul’s mystery goon (now named as Paul’s cohort, Geoff) unable to pass along the brass knuckles as planned, he was intercepted by security.

In the melee however, Austin Theory and Grayson Waller appeared with Theory sneakily getting the knuckles and handing them off to Logan Paul.

However Logan Paul would end up having the brass knuckles taken from him by Kevin Owens who hit him with a big punch.

As the referee was counting the pinfall however he saw Owens with the knuckles just before the three count.

Instead, the referee called for the end of the match, disqualifying Owens.

Logan Paul was therefore able to retain the WWE United States Championship with a little help from his pals.

However it did not save him from a post-match beatdown from Owens including being driven through the commentary desk.

Elsewhere on tonight’s WWE Royal Rumble, Roman Reigns was able to retain his WWE Undisputed Championship against LA Knight, Randy Orton and the man who ultimately took the pinfall victory, AJ Styles.
