WWE’s current plans for when the company will return to Saudi Arabia for its next show there have been revealed.
The last time WWE held a show in Saudi was Crown Jewel in November 2023, headlined by Roman Reigns vs LA Knight for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Prior to that, there was Night of Champions in May 2023, which was originally planned to be King & Queen of the Ring, but instead of running those tournaments, there was the culmination of the World Heavyweight Championship tournament, which was won by Seth Rollins.
It appears this year will follow a similar timeline, as PWInsider reports WWE is targeting a May 2024 show in Saudi.
There’s currently no word on what the show will be named or how it’ll be branded.
As for the presumed second Saudi show of the year, that’s unknown too, but every year since 2018 it’s always been late October or early November, excluding 2020 when it was skipped due to Covid – and it’s always been Crown Jewel.
WWE recently opened up the ‘WWE Experience’ in Saudi Arabia, which is an interactive physical WWE theme park/museum of sorts.
Braun Strowman, Chelsea Green, Natalya and Jinder Mahal traveled to Saudi Arabia last month to promote that.
