WWE star Sheamus has teased ‘big things’ coming for him in 2024 ahead of his current contract with the company expiring.
Numerous top WWE stars are currently set to see their contracts expire later in the year.
One of those names is former WWE Champion Sheamus, who has not appeared on WWE television in over seven months.
Sheamus last appeared on WWE television on SmackDown in August, when he faced off with Edge in Toronto in what ended up being Edge’s final match before leaving the company for AEW.
Speaking at the Premier League Fan Fest today, Sheamus addressed his absence from TV, teasing that he had ‘big things’ coming in 2024.
He said:
Seven months I’ve been off from WWE but I want to tell everybody, big things are coming for Sheamus this year!
Huge things are coming for Sheam-O!
Sheamus had been teasing a return feud with Gunther for the Intercontinental Championship, which Gunther lost to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40 last night.
We will provide any updates on Sheamus’ future as they become available.
