February 3rd, 2020 saw a new crop of recruits reported to the WWE Performance Center. According to Squared Circle Sirens, the latest recruiting class includes major independent female wrestler Aja Perera.
Perera debuted in 2013. She is a former SHINE Tag Team Championship alongside AEW’s Big Swole and was the GirlFight Champion. She is also a former SHINE Nova Champion.

Perera had a WWE tryout back in December of last year at the Performance Center. She has worked for promotions such as SHIMMER, WSU, and Queens of Combat among others.
She has also worked with the LLF promotion in Mexico and has toured Japan with Marvelous.
Perera reportedly joins Timothy Thatcher as part of this latest class. There’s no word yet on when WWE will officially announce this class.
