A WWE star has apologised to his supporters following a crushing defeat in just six seconds at a recent event.
On last week’s SmackDown (March 1) we saw not only Bron Breakker’s second match since being called up to the main roster, but also the return of long-forgotten WWE star Xyon Quinn – who had been absent from TV since May 2023.
Unfortunately for Quinn the wait was certainly not worth it as he was immediately put down by Breakker, losing to a single spear just six seconds after the bell had rung.
Now, following the loss Quinn has taken the time to send an apology to his fans, vowing to not let the result deter him.
Posting to Twitter, Quinn said:
Sorry to all my supporters.. Just know that as long as I’m breathing, I’ll never give up. Til the end ✊🏼❤
Quinn had been working in WWE since 2018 exclusively in NXT, but it finally seemed like he could receive his big break when he was given the title of a ‘free agent’ in last year’s WWE Draft, seemingly freeing him up to make his name outside the developmental brand.
Unfortunately for Quinn, aside from a single appearance in a May 2023 battle royal, he has done absolutely nothing on main roster TV or anywhere else for that matter – not competing a single time in NXT or even WWE live events throughout the last nine months.
Fans of Quinn will be hoping that WWE can maybe use the loss as fuel for the Aussie star going forward – however, that remains to be seen.
