Major WWE Star Comments On WWE Future Amid Contract Expiration

A major WWE star has commented on their future with the company amid a reported contract expiration in 2024.

Becky Lynch is one of the biggest stars in WWE, with her currently reigniting a feud with Nia Jax on the Raw brand, with the two set for their first ever singles match at WWE Raw Day 1.

Recently, reports emerged that Becky’s current contract with WWE is set to expire in June 2024, which had some fans speculating about her future in the company.

However, speaking to Strutting From Gorilla, Lynch didn’t appear to be in any rush to leave the company, saying that WWE is ‘absolutely’ where she will retire.

She said:

“Absolutely. Absolutely. Absolutely. Growing up, WWE is what I watched, it’s what I loved, it’s the reason I became a professional wrestler. Now, having been in it, I love it. I love the people, I love the audience, and I love being able to being an important part of change. I love that I get to continue to drive that and that my voice matters in WWE. I feel listened to, and I feel we’ve been able to change the landscape of women’s wrestling forever. That feels very special to me.

“It’s my home. It’s where I was born as a professional wrestler in many ways in terms of my influence, and it’s where I’ll retire.”
