A WWE star suffered an injury during his match before tonight’s June 2 episode of Raw hit the air in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
UPDATE: Wilde tweeted the following:
Never been knocked out cold before. So alot to process right now. But im good no worries.
WWE was still advertising the Worlds Collide match during Raw.
Before Raw took place tonight, matches were taped for this week’s episodes of WWE Main Event and WWE Speed.
The Speed match taped saw LWO member Joaquin Wilde up against NXT’s Lexis King.
It has surfaced on social media that Wilde suffered an injury during the match and had to be helped out of the ring and to the back.
We’ll keep you posted if any further updates emerge on the nature and severity of the injury.
Wilde was set for a match at this coming Saturday’s WWE & AAA Worlds Collide event in Los Angeles a few hours before Money in the Bank.
The match would see Wilde, Cruz Del Toro and Dragon Lee of the LWO team up in a six-man tag match against AAA’s Aero Star, Mr Iguana & Octagon Jr.
If Wilde’s injury ends up causing a change to the lineup, we’ll keep you posted.
We send our best wishes to Joaquin Wilde for his recovery.
