Speedball Mike Bailey has shared his immediate reaction to tag team partner Kevin Knight’s heel turn at AEW Double or Nothing 2026.

In front of a sold out Louis Armstrong Arena in Queens, New York, AEW Double or Nothing delivered on its promising match card and hype leading into the event, whilst also providing more than a few surprise moments.

The show’s closing contest was the much anticipated Hair vs. Title clash between AEW World Champion Darby Allin and the man he dethroned for the gold 39 days prior: MJF.

After a ringing endorsement from Mick Foley during the AEW Double or Nothing Buy In pre-show, Darby channeled Mick’s alter-ego Cactus Jack for a Coffin Drop off the stage, with MJF also pulling out all the stops on Darby, including a Package Piledriver on the steel steps.

It was, fittingly a headlock takeover that decided the match, albeit immediately after an Avalanche Tombstone Piledriver, with MJF pinning Darby to capture his third AEW World Title.

Much like he did after his win over “Hangman” Adam Page back at Revolution, MJF celebrated his win by standing over Darby as he lay on a stretcher, which drew the ire of AEW TNT Champion Kevin Knight, who charged down to the ring to fend him off.

However, in what proved to be a shocking final scene of Double or Nothing, Knight climbed to the top turnbuckle and performed a UFO Splash on Allin, whilst he was motionless and tied down to a stretcher on the outside.

Knight then added insult to injury by tipping over the stretcher, as MJF watched on approvingly from the top of the entrance ramp.

With fans questioning Knight’s motives for doing what he did, Speedball Mike Bailey has shared his reaction to his JetSpeed tag team partner’s actions in New York.

At the conclusion of his latest YouTube vlog, which just minutes earlier saw Knight and Speedball discuss their ambitions to hold all the gold in AEW together, a shocked Speedball had just a one word reaction to the conclusion of Double or Nothing.

Speedball said:

“F**k.”

Bailey’s wife Veda Scott was in the car with Bailey, and, after an awkward silence, she looked ahead to what should be an “interesting” episode of Dynamite on Wednesday:

“Ok, you saw what happened after the match. So… Wednesday. Gonna be interesting.”

As can be seen below, Bailey then shouted “f**k!” Before bringing an end to the vlog.

What Will Kevin Knight Have To Say On Wednesday?

During the AEW Double or Nothing 2026 post-show media scrum, Tony Khan gave little away when asked about Knight’s actions at the end of Sunday’s show.

The AEW President said he “thinks the world of The Jet”, and that we, and the rest of the world need to hear what he has to say for himself when he addresses his actions publicly.

As seen in a video captured after Double or Nothing, the only thing Knight had to say immediately after his attack on Darby, was “get that camera out my face” – so we will have to wait until AEW Dynamite on Wednesday for a real explanation.
