Brock Lesnar has addressed his decision to return to WWE for a rematch against Oba Femi after retiring following their match at WrestleMania.

Femi decisively beat Lesnar at WrestleMania in under five minutes just over a month ago, with Lesnar taking his boots off in the ring and being removed from the active WWE roster page shortly after.

However, last week on Raw, Lesnar returned and attacked Femi, with Paul Heyman later explaining that Lesnar had signed a contract for a rematch against Femi at Clash in Italy on May 31.

Tonight’s WWE Raw opened with a video promo from Lesnar in which he explained his return, saying:

“I didn’t quite get the chance to congratulate you last week on your big victory over me at WrestleMania. Congratulations Oba. Well done. But that victory is gonna cost you more than you could ever imagine.

“Now I’ve had my share of ass whoopings over the years, but none quite like that. It was humbling. You beat my ass at WrestleMania so bad I said, ‘That’s it, I’m done.’ But that doesn’t sit very well with me, Oba.

“It’s not gonna end that way, Oba Femi. Brock Lesnar can take an ass whooping. But, can you? You’re gonna get your ass kicked by a humbled, retired beast.

“Brock Lesnar will conquer Oba Femi. I am gonna rule over Oba Femi.”

Will Oba Femi Dominate Brock Lesnar Again At WWE Clash In Italy?

Oba Femi defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 42 was highly praised, and this rematch has caused some concerns that WWE could undo the work that was done to get Femi over at Mania.

A rematch means Lesnar winning would tie things up at 1-1, paving the way for a potential deciding match at SummerSlam in Lesnar’s hometown of Minneapolis, which could be his ultimate final match.

However, even if Femi gets the win back at SummerSlam, a loss at Clash in Italy may not be the way to go, and it might be better for Femi to simply go 2-0 – maybe even 3-0 at SummerSlam, unless Lesnar faces someone else there like GUNTHER.
