A WWE star has spoken about wanting more TV time, talent and championships for the company’s women’s division.
Naomi returned to WWE after a year and a half away in the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match, entering the match at number two.
Following her return, Naomi took part in the Elimination Chamber match, and is set to team up with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill against Asuka, Kairi Sane and Dakota Kai of Damage CTRL at WrestleMania 40.
Speaking on Going Ringside with the Local Station, Naomi was asked about the possibility of a midcard championship being introduced for the women’s division.
Naomi agreed, saying that she is always pushing for more TV time and opportunity for the division, saying:
I’m always pushing for more TV time, more talent for us… more titles, absolutely.
Naomi and Bianca had been butting heads on SmackDown in recent weeks over the attacks on Bayley by Damage CTRL, but ultimately came together to team against the group for WrestleMania.
