A WWE star has claimed that their current rival is ‘not coming back’ from their recent attack and heel turn.
At the NXT Roadblock special, NXT Women’s Champion Lyra Valkyria teamed with Tatum Paxley in a losing effort to the Kabuki Warriors for the Women’s Tag Team Championship.
Following the match, Roxanne Perez attacked the champion, taking her out of action and officially turning heel in the process.
Roxanne explained her actions on this week’s episode of NXT, also noting that we are witnessing ‘the Rise and Fall of Lyra Valkyria’ because of her.
Reacting to her promo on Twitter, Roxanne told NXT General Manager Ava to ‘give me my championship’, as Lyra is ‘not coming back’ from the attack from Perez at Roadblock.
She wrote:
.@avawwe_ Lyra’s not coming back so give me my championship or else, thanks <3
Perez is seemingly being set up as the next challenger for Lyra’s championship at NXT Stand & Deliver on April 6.
Roxanne is set to face off with Lyra’s partner Tatum Paxley on next week’s NXT show.
WWE also announced the grudge match between Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams for Stand & Deliver yesterday.
.@avawwe_ Lyra’s not coming back so give me my championship or else, thanks <3 https://t.co/QEGZz4iDUR
