WWE Star Out Of Big Match, Teases Intriguing ‘Surprise’ Replacement

WWE NXT star Dragon Lee has been pulled from a big upcoming match, revealing that due to ‘visa issues’, he is unable to leave Mexico.

Writing to WWE fans on New Years Day, NXT North American Champion Dragon Lee reported that he wouldn’t be able to make Tuesday’s special, New Years Evil.

Dragon Lee wrote on Twitter:

“Feliz año nuevo!

“Sad news to kick off the year, but due to visa issues I am unable to leave Mexico right now.

“Por eso, I will miss @WWENXT New Years Evil… But the LWO has a big surprise for the NQCC and the NXT Universe tomorrow night.”

While the disappointment of not seeing Dragon Lee on New Years Evil may be temporary, the impact of the potential mystery partner for the LWO could be longstanding.

With now Joaquin Wilde and Cruz del Toro in search of a third, could it have anything to do with a reported free agent Andrade el Idolo remains to be seen.
