WWE Star Pitches To Be Added To WrestleMania 40 Match

A current champion in WWE has pitched to be added to an announced match for this year’s WrestleMania event.

It was recently announced that the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Finn Balor and Damian Priest of the Judgment Day would defend their titles at WrestleMania in a six-team Ladder match.

The match will feature Balor and Priest, as well as two teams from SmackDown and three teams from Raw.

Tonight’s episode of Raw is set to feature the three qualifying matches from the Raw side, with Awesome Truth taking on Indus Sher, New Day taking on the Alpha Academy and DIY taking o the Creed Brothers.

When one fan asked what people would see as the ‘right’ outcome of tonight’s matches, current NXT Tag Team Champion Baron Corbin seemingly threw his name into the mix.

He simply responded:

The Wolfdogs team of Corbin and Bron Breakker won the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic and later the NXT Tag Team Championship last month.

Breakker has since been called up to the SmackDown brand following his appearance in the Royal Rumble.

The SmackDown side of the tag team championship contender’s tournament will see the New Catch Republic face Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo, as well as the OC, Street Profits, AoP and Grayson Waller and Austin Theory facing off for the spots.
