A WWE star has heaped praise on the performance of a recently debuted new signing’s first match in the company.
WWE signed several independent wrestling stars to contracts back in January after the latest tryouts in Orlando took place at the Performance Center took place last Fall.
One of the names signed was former DPW Worlds Champion Jay Malachi, who has since debuted on NXT Level Up under the name Je’Von Evans.
Evans was a notable name on the independent circuit before joining WWE, so while there were some already aware of what the ‘Young OG’ was capable of, others have since seen him in action for the first time.
Taking to Twitter, current WWE NXT star Dijak simply shared a picture of his face looking mindblown, alongside the caption:
Me watching @WWEJeVonEvans for the first time on @NXTLevelUp.
Evans responded to the praise from his fellow NXT star, saying:
Got The @DijakWWE co-sign…You know it’s real now #TheYoungOG
Dijak recently ended a long running feud with Joe Gacy, defeating him in an Asylum Cage match on last week’s Roadblock special.
Dijak was said to have received praise following the match after he hit a Moonsault from the top of the cage.
