Top WWE star Randy Orton is set to team with Kevin Owens on tonight’s March 8 edition of Friday Night SmackDown.
On the March 1 edition of SmackDown, Randy Orton defeated Austin Theory in the main event. Post match, Grayson Waller attacked Orton until Kevin Owens came in to make the save and even the odds.
Owens has been dealing with Theory and Waller for the past few months, while the duo earned Orton’s ire following their trash talk about him being knocked out by Logan Paul at Elimination Chamber.
On Friday afternoon, WWE announced that Randy Orton will team with Kevin Owens to face Austin Theory and Grayson Waller in tag team action on tonight’s SmackDown.
The match will come on the first episode back for United States Champion Logan Paul since Elimination Chamber.
At the event, Paul used brass knuckles to knock out Orton and cost him the Men’s Chamber, which was won by Drew McIntyre.
Tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown will also feature Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins answering The Rock and Roman Reigns’ challenge for a tag team match at WrestleMania 40.
