A WWE star has reacted to a segment from tonight’s AEW Dynamite where a new nickname was used that might sound familiar.
In a segment on AEW Dynamite, Christian Cage vowed to rename his faction members Luchasaurus and Nick Wayne with monikers more befitting of his image.
While he told Luchasaurus that he shall now be referred to as ‘Killswitch’, his name for Nick Wayne was a bit different.
Instead Cage told Nick Wayne that he was the ‘Golden Boy’, he would now be known as ‘The Prodigy Nick Wayne’.
However another prodigy, namely Roxanne Perez from WWE NXT who uses the moniker ‘The Prodigy’ already weighed in on the name change.
In a since deleted post, Perez shared a gif of herself during a match on WWE NXT saying “I am the Prodigy”.
Perez is no stranger to fans as she also competed on the now-Tony Khan owned Ring of Honor under the name Rok-C.
Rok-C was the inaugural and still youngest ever ROH Women’s Champion, winning the title at Death Before Dishonor XVIII in September 2021.
She later signed with WWE and debuted in NXT as Roxanne Perez in April 2022, and is already a former NXT Women’s Champion and former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.
