A WWE star has been removed from the company’s internal roster.
WWE star Bobby Roode has been out of action for over a year, last competing on a WWE live event on June 25, 2022, where he was defeated by Omos.
Roode has been out of action due to neck surgery, and he has been serving as a producer in the company in recent months during his absence from the ring.
However, it may now seem that Roode’s days as an active competitor could be over, in an update from PWInsider Elite (via WrestlingNews.co).
Per PWInsider, Roode has been removed from the active WWE roster.
He was previously listed under the miscellaneous section of the roster, which is where a lot of the injured talent is listed, as well as other tangentially related WWE talent such as Steve Austin and The Rock being listed there.
It has not been confirmed that Roode has transitioned full-time into a producer for the company, though that would seemingly be what the removal from the active roster is pointing towards.
WWE had listed Edge under the miscellaneous section of the internal roster following his match with Sheamus prior to his departure for AEW.
