A WWE star has potentially teased going after Rhea Ripley and her Women’s World Championship in the future.
Despite recently being defeated by fellow contender Nia Jax on the December 4 edition of Monday Night Raw, Shayna Baszler is still seemingly eyeing up a one-on-one title opportunity.
As pointed out by a user on Twitter, this week coming marks the four year anniversary of Baszler’s loss of the NXT Women’s Championship to Ripley.
In fact, this week’s December 18 edition of Raw is exactly four years removed from the title change in 2019.
Given that this was Baszler’s last taste of singles gold in WWE, it’s no surprise that she may be keen for the rematch she never got back then; only this time for Ripley’s Women’s World Title.
Posting an emoji of thread and a pair of eyes, it seems as if Baszler could be potentially planning to use that as motivation to challenge Ripley, perhaps even on Raw this week.
Ripley is currently without a challenger, however, with Jax recently gaining steam following her win over Baszler, perhaps she may be soon to step up to the Eradicator.
That’s if she can get past current rival The Man Becky Lynch, who will also undoubtedly be in the hunt for a first crack at Ripley’s gold at some point in the Road to WrestleMania 40.
This week’s Raw from Des Moines, Iowa, is set to see two title matches already with both the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships and Women’s Tag Team Championships on the line.
