A current WWE star has said they want a rubber match with Kazuchika Okada in WWE amid his free agency and NJPW departure.
The wrestling world is still reacting to the news that NJPW’s top star Kazuchika Okada would be leaving the company to become a free agent at the end of the month.
Okada still has several dates left with NJPW, with a lot of speculation now taking place about where he may eventually end up.
Okada is believed to have not decided on his next move, with those in AEW said to be confident that he will be heading to the company.
Speaking to Denise Salcedo, WWE star Bronson Reed was asked about Okada potentially coming to WWE, where he said that he hopes for a rubber match against the Rainmaker.
The two men had previously faced off in NJPW’s G1 Climax in 2022, with Bronson, then known as JONAH, scoring the victory over Okada.
We will provide the latest on Okada’s status as it becomes available.
