WWE Star Shouts Out AEW’s Bryan Danielson

A current WWE star has sent a ‘shout out’ to AEW’s Bryan Danielson, sharing previous glowing comments he has made about the American Dragon.

The New Day’s Kofi Kingston may have recently turned heel but it hasn’t stopped him from showing his public appreciation for a beloved fan favorite.

In a recent interview, Kingston had glowing things to say about Danielson while also managing to throw subtle shade at Big E.

Kofi said:

“Daniel Bryan, I think, is one of the greatest,”

“He’s gotta be a top five of all time for a lot of different reasons [beginning with] resiliency.”

“I mean, he’s a guy who broke his neck and came back [after] people said he wasn’t gonna be able to do it. You have to admire someone that can do that, you know?”

Sharing previous comments about Danielson via video on Twitter, Kofi added:

“Big shout out to @bryandanielson!”

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods turned on Big E at the 10th Anniversary celebration for The New Day on WWE Raw, deriding him for his absence after breaking his neck during a match.

After losing the AEW World Championship at WrestleDream 2024, Danielson has retired from full-time in-ring competition.
