Je’Von Evans Admits He Finds One Aspect Of WWE ‘Very Difficult’

Monday Night Raw star Je’Von Evans has admitted that he finds one aspect of WWE “very difficult” at times.

Being one of the youngest stars on the WWE roster at 22-years-old, Je’Von Evans is perhaps known best for his youthful exuberance, something that has only helped endear him to fans throughout his time in NXT and now the main roster.

While viewers would perhaps assume that being this way comes second nature to ‘The Young OG’, Evans has admitted that maintaining a high level of energy for every appearance on TV can be “very difficult.”

During an appearance on the Brad Galli Show, Evans said:

“I’ll be trying to, and it’s very difficult too honestly, especially when you don’t feel like doing it. But at the end of the day it’s so many times where we don’t feel like wrestling but we still go out and wrestle and then fans give us the energy and we’re like ‘Oh, we’re good.’”

Evans recently said that “the energy was crazy” inside the Allstate Arena this past Monday for WWE Raw when CM Punk made his return to TV to challenge, and defeat Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship.

It was such an electric atmosphere in fact, that Evans got in amongst the crowd in Chicago to enjoy the moment from a fan perspective.

With Punk now officially leading the charge on SmackDown, young stars such as Evans and Oba Femi may see an opening in the main event picture on the red brand.

Evans recently identified Oba, Trick Williams and Ethan Page as potential long-term rivals for himself in WWE, having previously shared the ring with all three plenty of times in NXT.

Time For WWE To Give Je’Von Evans His First Crowning Moment

The Monday, July 13 episode of WWE Raw will see Je’Von Evans compete in a Gauntlet Match to determine Penta’s challenger for the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam 2026.

Competing against Joe Hendry, Rusev, Ethan Page, Dragon Lee, Dominik Mysterio and Chad Gable, Evans will certainly have his work cut out for him if he is going to earn his spot on the SummerSlam card.

While Evans should rank as one of the favorites to win, Chad Gable must be considered the front-runner given his recent push and teases of a meeting with Penta over the past few weeks.

A Gable win is certainly not something to be argued, the Olympian has toiled away in WWE for over a decade and is long, long overdue his first singles title win.

However, after already falling short in his quest to win the IC Title at WrestleMania 42, and being knocked out of the King of the Ring by Jey Uso last month, hopefully WWE do not get too comfortable with denying Je’Von Evans his crowning moment.

Evans almost winning championship gold became a regular theme for him in WWE NXT, something the company should certainly not continue now he’s on the main roster.
