A WWE star has named Oba Femi among the current crop of talent that he considers as potential long-term rivals.

Oba Femi wouldn’t be the only name to be on the mind of Je’Von Evans, with Trick Williams also fitting the bill, before adding Ethan Page to the list.

Being well acquainted with the stars through NXT, Je’Von Evans named them when asked about long-term rivals during an appearance on ROAR Around The Ring, saying:

“I feel like I’ve got a couple. It’s either going to be me, Trick (Williams) and Oba Femi – there’s just so much story alone from NXT, we can just draw that out – and then me and Ethan Page. I feel like me and Ethan would just go back and forth because I don’t like his attitude, and he doesn’t like me at all. He broke my jaw in NXT, so I feel like it’s forever beef with Ethan.

“If we go back to me, Trick and Oba, everybody has their own fan section.”

Trick Williams and Evans last crossed paths in the Undisputed WWE Championship Number One Contendership match at Elimination Chamber back in February, joining Cody Rhodes, LA Knight and Logan Paul in a match that would be won by Randy Orton.

Femi successfully defended the NXT Championship against Evans in their last encounter back in December of last year. Any feud with Evans will have to wait, with Femi heading to SummerSlam to face Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell match.

The WWE European Summer Tour would see Ethan Page and Evans compete multiple times on non-televised house shows. Page would also team with Rusev in a victory over Evans and Penta on the May 4 episode of Raw, having also scored a victory in singles action the previous month.

“Fight Forever”

It’s a chant that can occasionally be heard at wrestling shows around the world and, to this day, no star has taken it literally just to show the fans what “fight forever” would truly feel like.

Beyond that, though, a “fight forever” rivalry is something that some stars are able to enjoy, seeing what could have been a one-off encounter turn into an unofficial series of matches around different promotions and across multiple years.

Friendships have been born from such a rivalry, with many stars sharing memories of their early days on the independent scene while enjoying the experiences they have today, still on the road and still, from time to time, pursuing that feud wherever they may currently be.

The rivalries may be intense in the ring, but the friendships are just as personal, with a heightened level of realism no doubt offered by the behind-the-scenes insight we get from the stars involved.
