Top WWE Star Taking Time Off Following WrestleMania 40 Update

A top WWE star has provided an update on reports that they were taking time off from the company following WrestleMania 40.

Becky Lynch came up short in her attempt to capture the Women’s World Championship from Rhea Ripley in the opening match of WrestleMania 40.

Following the show, it was reported that both Becky and her husband Seth Rollins were set to take time off from the company for a number of weeks.

However, that seems to no longer be the case, as WWE UK is now advertising Becky for the upcoming UK tour, which begins in just two days time.

Reacting to the advertisement, Becky poked fun at the reports that she was taking time off, saying:

But the internet said I was taking time off. See you soon, Europe.

Becky reportedly only has around 8 weeks left on her current contract, with the company looking to insure she signs an extension.
