Total Divas helped expand WWE’s audience among women during it’s time on the E! Network between 2013 and 2018.
The show helped expand the business for the women involved, as well as show the inner workings of WWE to those not familiar with the business.
NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton spoke to TV Insider, where she was asked if she would have wanted to appear on Total Divas.
Tiffany said that she actually watched the show before she was even into wrestling, and would have loved to be on the show if it was brought back.
She said:
“Absolutely! I would have loved to be on Total Divas. That show was the first thing I watched before getting signed by WWE. I watched every single episode probably about four times. I didn’t even watch wrestling yet, but I watched Total Divas. I would love to be on that show if they brought it back. There isn’t as much drama now, but I loved that show.”
Tiffany is set to defend her NXT Women’s Championship against Thea Hail in a Submission match at NXT Great American Bash.
Tiffany also discussed the use of WWE main roster stars on the show, claiming that it’s ‘not needed’.
