WWE Star Wants To Main Event WrestleMania Night 1

More details continue to emerge regarding WrestleMania 37 and what matches will take place on which night. One such announcement has been that Sasha Banks vs. Bianca Belair will take place on Night One.

Now, Banks has taken to Twitter to succinctly state that she and Belair should be the main event. Here is the tweet:

Even since Belair won the Women’s Royal Rumble match people have been calling for her match with Banks to main event one of the nights of WrestleMania.

If this were to happen, it would be only the second time a women’s match would main event WrestleMania. Additionally, it would be the first time two people of color would main event WrestleMania as well.

Other people have also been campaigning for Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair to main event night one. One of those people is Banks’ former partner and rival, Bayley. Bayley took to Twitter to voice her support for her rival, saying if she can’t kick Michael Cole’s ass, Banks and Belair should main event.

It is currently unconfirmed which match will main event the first night. The other obvious candidate would be Bobby Lashley vs. Drew McIntyre for the WWE Championship.
