Two WWE Stars Potentially Set For Big Match In Another Company

Two top WWE stars are potentially set for a big interpromotional match following the launch of a new promotion.

Earlier today, Stardom founder and former owner Rossy Ogawa officially announced his new promotion, named MARIGOLD.

The company had long been rumoured since Rossy’s departure from Stardom earlier this year, with former World of Stardom Giulia set to join the start up promotion before starting with WWE later this year.

However, it appears as though that may not end up being the only link between the promotion and WWE, as Tokyo Sports is reporting that Rossy has already made overtures to the company for big interpromotional matches.

The report states that Rossy has acquired about getting WWE’s Kairi Sane and IYO SKY to appear at a MARIGOLD event this Summer.

IYO and Kairi both had major success under Rossy in Stardom before signing with WWE, with a mutual respect between both parties going back many years.

Rossy appeared on camera at NXT Stand & Deliver alongside William Regal and Giulia when Giulia appeared before the live crowd on the show.

IYO lost the WWE Women’s Championship to Bayley on night two of WrestleMania 40, while Kairi currently reigns as one half of the Women’s Tag Team Champions.
