WWE Star Says Becoming A Double Champion At SummerSlam 2026 Would Be ‘So Iconic’

Tiffany Stratton has commented on the possibility of becoming a double champion in her home state at SummerSlam.

Stratton is set to compete in the interim WWE Women’s Championship ladder match on Sunday, facing off against Charlotte Flair, Chelsea Green, Jade Cargill and one more star TBA to crown an interim titleholder while official champion Rhea Ripley is recovering from an injury.

During an interview on ESPN SportsCenter, Stratton was asked what being in the ladder match for the interim title means for her.

Noting that she has the opportunity to become Tiffy Two Titles, the WWE Women’s US Champion responded:

“It means I could possibly be Tiffy Two Titles. I’m going to be getting that on all of my t-shirts. We’re going to be selling that at WWE Shop.

“I had a year long reign with that title, so that title means so much to me. To be able to hold that title and this title at the same time would just be so iconic.

“I’m also from Minnesota, so how amazing would that be to become Tiffy Two Titles in my hometown? I think that needs to happen.”

Speaking further about the opportunity to compete at SummerSlam in her home state, Tiffany Stratton continued:

“It’s really cool this time, because SummerSlam is one of the big four PLEs that we have. It’s really cool to have this in Minnesota and have the US title for it, and possibly being able to become Tiffy Two Titles in my hometown, in front of all my friends and family.

“I’m super excited to kind of have my first big match in Minnesota. I’ve actually only wrestled one time in my five year career there. I’m super excited, it’s just all going to be so surreal.”

Stratton’s only other WWE match in her home state saw her defeat Elektra Lopez and Naomi in the first round of the Women’s US Championship tournament, at the Target Center in Minneapolis on the December 6, 2024 SmackDown episode.

Stratton grew up in Prior Lake, Minnesota, around a 30 minute drive from the venue for this year’s SummerSlam event, theUS Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.
