WWE Women’s US Champion Tiffany Stratton has revealed her inspiration for her ring gear for SummerSlam, ahead of the two-night event.
With SummerSlam to take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 1-2, Tiffany Stratton is set to compete in her home state.
The Women’s US Champion will be one of five women to compete in the ladder match for the interim WWE Women’s Championship, with Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill and Chelsea Green also announced for the bout, with one more name TBD.
During WWE’s latest “Break It Down” video, Tiffany Stratton hinted that she will be using ring gear from a previous PLE as inspiration for her SummerSlam attire.
While talking about her Backlash 2024 gear, Stratton said:
“So this gear, Backlash in France, was not really anything I had stolen inspo from or taken inspo from. I just kind of wanted a 3D bra moment. That was the first time I ever did 3D bras.
“The bra kind of resembles the fleur-de-lis, which was kind of the vibe I was going for. I wanted something to look like armor, like a pretty armor. I feel like that’s exactly what this did.
“I love the metallic, the metallic fabric that she used was very striking on camera. Unfortunately, this gear did not last either. The fabric actually started going black because it rubbed up against some of my other clothes and it destroyed it.
“However, it’s still iconic gear, I still love this gear, and I might be using it as inspo for SummerSlam.”

Stratton wore this gear for a WWE Women’s Championship match, with Bayley ultimately defeating Naomi and Stratton in triple-threat action.
With Stratton previously reigning with the WWE Women’s Title for over 300 days in 2025, she would be a dependable name to hold the interim championship while Rhea Ripley is out of action due to injury.
The fact that Stratton already holds singles gold has led many fans to predict that one of the other competitors will win Sunday’s ladder match, however only time will tell.
WWE has now announced the match lineups for both SummerSlam Saturday and Sunday, click here to read more.
