How World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns is perceived internally in WWE has been revealed following last night’s Raw.

Since winning the World Heavyweight Championship back at WrestleMania 42, Roman Reigns has been running back the Bloodline story on Monday Night Raw.

However, one thing that has been confusing fans since his reign began is how exactly Reigns is supposed to be perceived, with him turning babyface back in 2024 after his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship defeat.

Reigns had been perceived as a babyface ever since, though he has almost exclusively feuded with other popular stars since winning the title, namely Jacob Fatu, CM Punk, Seth Rollins and now LA Knight.

Roman Reigns Listed As A Heel Internally In WWE

On last night’s WWE Raw, Solo Sikoa betrayed the Bloodline in the closing segment to a huge ovation from the crowd as he and LA Knight stood tall over the Bloodline, which implied that the current version of the group were now heels once again despite no actual turn taking place.

Reigns was perceived as a babyface at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Madison Square Garden when he posed with Jalen Brunson, as well as at the end of WWE SummerSlam, when he and Seth Rollins posed with the Shield Fist to close the show.

However, in an update from False Finish, WWE officially lists Roman Reigns as a heel on it’s internal roster, with the entire Bloodline reportedly intended to be portrayed as heels.

Will LA Knight Defeat Roman Reigns?

Following the closing moments of last night’s WWE Raw, it seems clear that both Solo Sikoa and LA Knight are set for future clashes with the Tribal Chief over the World Heavyweight Championship.

Once Reigns makes it through Mexico City and whoever his number one contender will be on that show, it’s on to Money In The Bank, where a match with the Megastar awaits.

Many fans are split on the match between Reigns and Knight, with many believing it to be an ‘obvious’ victory for Reigns.

However, there are a number of potential storyline options available for the company should they opt to crown Knight on the show in a similar manner to how they did with Sami Zayn back at Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia.
