The date for the first-ever encounter between Bron Breakker and Oba Femi in WWE has officially been confirmed.
In the main event of WWE SummerSlam night one, Oba Femi was officially anointed as the next big thing in WWE, when he defeated Brock Lesnar in a Hell In A Cell match in what would end up being Brock’s final match before announcing his retirement.
While most had already slated Oba as the future of WWE, one man who took exception with the label was Bron Breakker, as he and Oba Femi have been having issues since the Raw after SummerSlam.
Breakker has not had his heart in the Vision in recent weeks, with him only being focused on Oba Femi, with a future clash between the two seemingly looming.
Oba Femi Vs. Bron Breakker Set For Sunday Night’s Main Event
On tonight’s WWE Raw, Breakker was backstage with the rest of the Vision, with him then leaving to call out Oba Femi in the ring.
As Bron and Oba were ready to throw down in Buffalo, Paul Heyman stepped in and said that a match between the two needs to be promoted to be as big as possible.
Heyman then said he had already spoken to Adam Pearce, with the match between the two officially set for Sunday Night’s Main Event on September 6.
Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes’ WrestleMania 42 rematch has also been announced for the show.
Who Should Win Oba Femi Vs. Bron Breakker?
A lot of fans have questioned running Bron vs. Oba right now, as the argument could be made that neither man can afford to lose the feud at this current moment in time.
However, this match is to determine the future of the WWE, and it’s results will not only matter on the September 7 episode of Raw, but potentially an entire decade down the line.
Oba Femi should defeat Bron Breakker at Sunday Night’s Main Event, with Oba also being presented as the one obstacle that Bron can’t climb.
A defeat would do more for Bron’s character than it would Oba’s right now, with Bron then going on to leave the Vision and set his sights on overthrowing Oba, whether that happens months down the line, or literal years like the case of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
