Stephanie Vaquer’s first opponent since WWE WrestleMania 42 has been announced for next week’s episode of Raw.

Back at WrestleMania 42, Stephanie Vaquer’s reign as Women’s World Champion came to an end, when she lost to Royal Rumble winner Liv Morgan on the first night of the show.

It was reported following the event that Stephanie was working through an injury, which saw her then get written off WWE television by an attack from the Judgment Day following WrestleMania.

Stephanie made her return to WWE television on the Raw after SummerSlam, where both her and Becky Lynch returned to target Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Championship.

Becky and Stephanie have had issues in the weeks since as they both chase Liv’s title, and Stephanie is officially set to get back in the ring next week.

To kick off tonight’s show, both Stephanie and Becky were left laying after an attack by the Judgment Day after Stephanie had called out Liv.

Later in the show, it was announced that Stephanie would make her return to the ring next week, facing off with Roxanne Perez of the Judgment Day.

Becky Lynch vs. Stephanie Vaquer Is Raw’s Money Match

Since they both returned on the Raw after SummerSlam, Becky Lynch and Stephanie Vaquer have been butting heads as they both have their eyes on the Women’s World Championship.

Liv Morgan has made one defence of the Women’s World Championship since she won the title from Vaquer at WrestleMania 42, defeating IYO SKY at SummerSlam.

While WWE clearly plans to keep Liv’s title reign going to run a fourth Judgment Day break up angle, it’s pretty clear to those watching the show that the big match that WWE should be building to is Becky Lynch vs. Stephanie Vaquer.

WrestleMania 43 is still 8 months away, so the story may not have the legs to last quite that long, but a big match between the two at any other show would be the biggest women’s match WWE has run this year.

Raw is set to head to Dublin, Ireland for the first time ever next January, which would make for a great place for Becky to win the Women’s World Title if they do plan to run her vs. Stephanie at WrestleMania 43.
