Over the past three years, LA Knight has had a rough go of things at the WWE Money In The Bank premium live event, with him being unsuccessful to capture the briefcase despite being the fans’ choice to win.

This year is different, as instead of being part of the titular match, Knight will likely be set to challenge Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship on the show itself.

The Knight vs. Reigns encounter has divided fans, as while some are happy to see him finally in a main event spot, others think it’s a waste of time due to being ‘obvious’ Reigns will retain.

Aside from the obvious flaw in that logic, as most all Reigns title defences between now and WrestleMania will be ‘obvious’ retentions, it actually isn’t so black and white.

Here is how LA Knight could actual DEFEAT Roman Reigns at WWE Money In The Bank.

Solo Sikoa’s Involvement

LA Knight and Solo Sikoa teamed with Royce Keys to defeat the Bloodline at SummerSlam

Last week’s WWE Raw could ultimately hold the keys to Roman’s downfall, when he ordered Jey Uso to ‘deliver’ Solo Sikoa to him.

Jey would defeat Solo in the show’s main event, with the stipulation being that Solo must rejoin the Bloodline following the loss.

However, Solo Sikoa as a singles babyface rebelling against his family has been his greatest role since joining the main roster, and it would be a real shame if he were to just simply fall in line.

As shaky as WWE creative has been recently, I believe they will have taken notice of Solo’s reactions, and will play with the fans’ fears that he will simply revert back to his prior ways.

Solo being forced back into the group could lead to him gaining Roman’s trust once again, only to stab him in the back at the most opportune time, which would be in a big World Heavyweight Championship match.

The man that LA Knight never trusted being the man to hand him the World Championship he’s been chasing for years.

War Games Preparation

2026 will likely be the third time the Bloodline enter the Match Beyond

WWE recently announced that Survivor Series 2026 would take place in Houston, Texas this November, as well as announcing the return of War Games for this year’s show.

With Roman Reigns advertised for the show, being the sole face on the poster, it stands to reason that this year will mark yet another Bloodline War Games match.

The current iteration of the Bloodline (including Solo Sikoa’s forced inclusion) has five members, and while there is a long list of wrestlers who hate the Bloodline, LA Knight would likely be a key part of the opposing team.

Knight capturing the World Heavyweight Championship from Reigns would add some higher stakes to the match, as Reigns must go through Knight’s team to get a rematch for the title.

Plus, if Knight loses straight up to Roman at Money In The Bank, his part in the story is now over, as he has no reason to continue his rivalry with the group.

Jacob Fatu Cash In

With LA Knight out of the picture, someone that is not him will end up taking home this year’s briefcase.

A scenario that seems fairly likely is Roman pitching for Jacob Fatu to enter the Ladder match and bring the briefcase into the Bloodline, that way Reigns doesn’t have to worry about anyone else using it on him.

As well as Reigns having eyes on the briefcase, it could also be used as a ‘Plan B’ should something go drastically wrong for the family, say, Solo Sikoa sticking the knife in Roman’s back at Money In The Bank.

To avoid this version of the Bloodline feeling the same as the original, WWE should do something different with the title rather than just having Roman hold it for a year.

Jacob being forced to fall in line, only to cash in and take the title that Roman lost would create an interesting dynamic in the group, and also help elevate a new face to the top of the card.

The cash in could happen the same night, it could happen a few months down the line, but Jacob being the one to bring the title back to the family, and Reigns being the one without a title, is an interesting spin on the family dynamic we have yet to see.

“What About Oba Femi?”

Oba Femi called out Roman Reigns after WWE WrestleMania 42

What about him?

Yes, Roman Reigns vs. Oba Femi is the biggest match WWE could run at WrestleMania 43, but there is nothing to say that Reigns needs to have held the title all year for that match to work.

After defeating Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam, Oba is on the fast track to the top of the company, with him considered the favorite for next year’s Royal Rumble match.

If LA Knight defeats Roman Reigns at Money In The Bank, Reigns will almost certainly be the one to beat him to win the belt back (unless they do the Jacob Fatu briefcase angle, but that seems less likely).

Roman would then walk into WrestleMania and drop the title to Oba Femi, still cementing the next big star of the company on the biggest show of the year.

Oba’s moment at WrestleMania is about Oba’s victory, not about Roman’s defeat, so Roman dropping the title briefly shouldn’t make any difference to the plans.
