New Additions To WWE NXT Roster

The WWE NXT roster is constantly evolving with new talent joining the roster to either climb up the ranks themselves or to help develop those younger stars with big potential.

Whether it be new signings like Zilla Fatu or main roster stars returning like Grayson Waller, there are always plenty of unexpected faces that show up in NXT for a stint on the brand.

Here are five more potential new additions to the WWE NXT roster.

5. Eric Young

In July, Eric Young requested and was granted his release from TNA Wrestling – adding him to the growing list of names departing TNA this year.

Upon his exit, it was immediately reported that there was interest from WWE in bringing him in.

Young is a former NXT Tag Team Champion as a member of SAnitY and always had plenty of supporters – he was even one of the Triple H re-hires in 2022 but ended up leaving in 2023 before ever returning to TV because Vince McMahon was back in the picture for a little while, and Young didn’t want to work for McMahon.

If Young does now make another WWE comeback, the most likely position for him would be as something of a player/coach in NXT, a role similar to the one that Shawn Spears has played the past couple of years.

4. Harlem Lewis

A month ago, Harlem Lewis won the WWE Evolve Championship from Aaron Rourke, which means the company must see something in him.

Lewis had his first match in early 2024, but still hasn’t made an official NXT TV debut, instead working on Level Up, Evolve, and even going on an excursion to Pro Wrestling NOAH in Japan.

He also has matches on Main Event and even one match on Raw – in 2024 when he suffered a quick loss to Odyssey Jones – under his belt, so despite not being on NXT TV, he’s done a lot of other stuff that others haven’t.

It’s somewhat odd that he hasn’t appeared on NXT properly yet, but his Evolve Title win seems to suggest it’s on the way.

3. Conan Lycan

Conan Lycan was at the recent WWE SummerSlam week tryouts and could be picked up by the company.

Lycan has years experience of experience on the indies and also comes with something of a following, which we know WWE values these days.

Lycan has over 50,000 Instagram followers and appeared on season two of Mr Beast’s Beast Games.

Personally endorsed by WWE Hall of Famer AJ Styles, it looks like Lycan is one of the favorites to be signed to a WWE contract coming out of the tryouts.

2. Brooke Havok

Another potential signing from the WWE SummerSlam week tryouts is Brooke Havok.

Havok has long seemed like someone who would end up in WWE after training at Cody Rhodes’ Nightmare Factory and Rhodes praising her as one of his star students.

She’s also trained around some WWE greats at Bayley’s Lodestone camp and Nattie’s Dungeon, so the pathway to WWE and NXT looks pretty clear.

1. Aalyah Mysterio

A major recent signing that WWE hasn’t really publicized is that of Aalyah Mysterio – the daughter of Rey and sister of Dominik.

After dabbling in some training at the Performance Center while Rey was recovering from injury, Aalyah has now signed a full-time deal to join NXT.

She’s trained plenty elsewhere too – including at Lodestone and the Dungeon – so it looks like she’s really taken to wrestling in the same way as those in her family that came before her.

Given her name and lineage, it’s probably only a matter of time before she makes her official NXT TV debut, despite only just signing.
