Top WWE Star Likes ‘Treat Women Better’ Tweets After Matches Pulled From SummerSlam WWE

It seems that one top WWE star agrees with the criticism of the lack of women’s matches on the WWE SummerSlam card.

Specifically with Becky Lynch vs Trish Stratus seemingly being pulled from SummerSlam, along with Rhea Ripley vs Raquel Rodriguez, the situation has been facing growing ire from the WWE audience.

Now it seems that Rhea Ripley herself has weighed in, liking a couple of tweets from a Ripley & Dominik Mysterio fan account that are not subtle regarding their perspective.

Rhea liked a tweet reading:

“Treat your women better. simple.”

That tweet also included screenshots referencing the lack of Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch on the SummerSlam card.

Ripley also liked another tweet that read:

“Rhea has every right to be upset so does becky so does trish”

Ripley’s last match on the main roster was on the July 4 edition of WWE Raw with a win over Natalya, although she since has appeared in the ring against Lyra Valkyria on the July 25 episode of NXT.

Despite initially being planned for SummerSlam since Stratus’ return several months ago, the Stratus vs Lynch showdown has been rescheduled for the August 14 episode of Raw in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada.

As for Ripley vs Rodriguez, there is no new date for that yet, but the storyline is that Rodriguez is injured and the match will only take place once she’s cleared. Originally that match was planned for SummerSlam too.

There are two women’s matches on the WWE SummerSlam card at present with Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler facing off in an ‘MMA Rules’ match, as well as Asuka defending her WWE Women’s Championship against both Bianca Belair and Charlotte Flair in a three-way match.
