A WWE tag team seems to be splitting up after a “miscommunication” during their match on tonight’s SmackDown.
In the opening match for tonight’s November 17 episode of SmackDown, Street Profits faced Pretty Deadly and The Brawling Brutes in a triple threat match to determine the number one contenders for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships.
All three teams have had previous opportunities at the gold, so they all came in determined to pick up the victory. In a very competitive bout with all of these duos, a late miscommunication was the difference in getting the win.
During the late stages of the bout, Butch went for the Brogue Kick and accidentally nailed his partner Ridge Holland.
This led to The Street Profits taking advantage, hitting The Revelation on Holland to pick up the win.
With this victory, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins will face The Judgment Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships on next Friday’s November 24 episode of SmackDown.
Post match, Ridge Holland looked dejected and left the ring without Butch. This seem to indicate a new rift between The Brawling Brutes.
WrestleTalk will provide any news and notes from tonight’s WWE SmackDown when they become available.
