A WWE tag team that hasn’t been seen for quite some time on TV has now returned on Friday night SmackDown, at least in a vignette.
After being off television since losing claim to the Women’s Tag Team Title in a unification match against Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey back in June, a tag team returned tonight.
With Isla Dawn and Alba Fire appearing in a vignette, they took seemingly took storyline responsibility for the string of difficulties experienced by the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title.
Showing images of Sonya Deville, Liv Morgan, Shayna Baszler and Piper Niven experiencing pain, they asked who could conjure a spell so powerful?
With the spooky duo making their return just in time for Halloween hijinks, hopefully we are set to see more competition heat up in the WWE women’s tag division.
Elsewhere on tonight’s show, the episode began with John Cena and AJ Styles hoping to get a match with Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, however Uso declined.
