The Memphis Grizzlies took on the Boston Celtics and the mascot Grizz made a tribute to WWE’s The Undertaker.
As can be seen from the video below this news story, Grizz made his entrance to the iconic Undertaker theme.
With Thanksgiving falling on Thursday, November 23, it probably comes as little surprise that a turkey featured in the segment from the November 19 game.
The terrified turkey mascot fell victim to Grizz, finding itself on the receiving end of a tombstone piledriver.
Said turkey wouldn’t be left on the basketball court, however, being removed by a retinue of druids.
Unfortunately for the Grizzlies, it wasn’t enough to secure them the victory on their home ground.
Boston Celtics would win the game 102-100 at the FedExForum in front of a crowd of more than 17,000 fans.
