WWE will be hosting their first stadium show in the United Kingdom this September, when WWE Clash at the Castle takes place in Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales.
The show in Cardiff will be WWE’s third stadium show in as many months, following Money in the Bank in Las Vegas and SummerSlam in Nashville, both in July.
Per WrestleVotes on Twitter, the WWE main roster isn’t the only show that WWE is hoping to bring to the UK, as WWE is planning on hosting another NXT Stand & Deliver show in the same city as one of their stadium shows, with their preference being the UK show in September, though it will likely be Nashville in July for SummerSlam.
They tweeted:
WWE has discussed adding another Stand & Deliver event for one of the 3 big stadium shows happening this summer. I’ve heard the preference is UK for Clash at the Castle, but Nashville/SummerSlam seems more likely. All TBD still.
NXT hosted it’s Spring Breakin’ show last night, which saw a rather bizarre abrupt ending following the NXT Championship match. WWE has now shown us what happened after the show went off the air.
