Jey Uso wants his WrestleMania 41 match against GUNTHER for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to be remembered.
With GUNTHER continuing to target Uso ahead of their match, the WWE World Heavyweight Champion has promised hell over the next few weeks.
Uso is, however, focused on the match taking place in April 2025 and set a promise of his own to those watching the WWE PLE.
Having recently reflected on his WWE WrestleMania 40 match with Jimmy Uso and how he lacks matches that “stick in people’s minds”, Jey Uso spoke to the Daily Mail about changing that opinion, saying:
“WrestleMania, night one or night two, whichever match I’m on. I don’t care if I’m on last, I don’t care if I open it up. I’m going to go out there and they’re going to remember my match, so that’s all I’m focused on.
“This is a once in a lifetime shot. That’s how I’m looking at it, because this might not ever, ever come back around in my career.”
WWE WrestleMania 41 takes place on April 19 & 20 at the Allegiant Stadium in Paradise, Nevada.
Uso’s road to WrestleMania started with his victory in the men’s Royal Rumble match on February 1, 2025.
Speaking about his victory, Uso stated that he only found out he would be winning the match on the day of the WWE PLE.
